We all know hitting the gym several times a week is a great way to stay in shape. With the beautiful weather upon us it may be a little tougher to get the motivation to get to the gym. On days when the sun is shining, change it up!! You can soak up your daily Vitamin D while getting a work-out in.

Getting enough Vitamin D is essential to our health, several ways to get your daily dose in is eating foods rich in Vitamin D, taking a multivitamin such as Ground-Based Nutrition’s Emergency Immune Support, and of course getting enough sun. Bike Ride – Grab your bike and find a trail, boardwalk, or even a safe side street to get your gears grinding on.

Paddle boarding – If you have a body of water near try a little fun in the sun. Not only does paddle boarding help tone your muscles it can help with your balance as well.

Jogging/walking – Jogging and walking are both great ways to soak up sun and get your heart pumping.

Yoga/Pilates – Grab a mat and get your stretch on!
